  • Article 119 of the ConstitutionThe housing is social interest. The State will ensure that the greatest number of Salvadoran families become homeowners. It will encourage landowners to provide a safe and comfortable housing for resident workers and adequate facilities for temporary workers, and for this purpose, will provide smallholders means necessary.
